The Return of Quito

I arrived late last night in Quito and went straight to my Quitenian friends house. There were a few of them at home and they had been celebrating another friends birthday earlier.

I spent the night after what had been a sort of science experiment for 2nd-graders. You should of seen these guys with my electronic gadgits (ipod, mini-laptop, camera); it was like they had never seen them before. I promised Papa I would send him a portable lap top when I get home because they are not available in Ecuador yet.

Today was a bit of a non-action limbo day as I get ready to switch countries. I did my laundry and tried again to sort out the Galapagos trip.

My flight to Santiago via Lima leaves in a couple hours, time to take a cab to the airport.
